Hong Kong Spiders: The Hong Kong Harvestmen all belong to the same species which has been most kindly named for me by Professor Dr. C. Fr. Roewer,—Direktor des Deutschen Kolonial-und-Ubersee-Museums in Bremen, Germany—who is the recognised authority on this group in the world today. Professor Roewer puts all the specimens submitted to him from Hong Kong as being Gagrella splendens, With. Unfortunately all of them were much broken.
Palpatores亞目 (中文學名待考)：迄今為止，學界對香港地區性盲蛛研究甚少，分布於本地的盲蛛類中，這是唯一被鑑定的少數品種之一，其體長一般少於5毫米，但足距可達10厘米以上。大部分盲蛛目動物的步腳細長；頭胸部和腹部間無明顯的分隔；不吐絲。盲蛛依食性可分為植食性與肉食性兩種；植食性種類步腳細節，上顎及觸鬚無明顯特化；肉食性則步腳粗短，上顎及觸鬚特化成鋏狀之捕食構造。
